Stories
The real stories of cannabis, told through the voices that matter most
WHERE ARE THE STORIES.....?
Alright, alright, we're currently mapping out our first documentary locations and connecting with people to tell their story. Just giz a lil bit of time x
What Stories Are We Telling?
Cannabis has a story. Actually, it has thousands of them. Stories of relief, discovery, transformation, challenge, hope, and healing. Stories that challenge everything you think you know about this plant and the people who use it.
This is where you'll find those stories, told through documentaries, intimate interviews, and honest conversations that cut through the noise.
Because the real story of cannabis isn't about the plant itself, it's about people.
The Stories We're After
We're traveling to places where cannabis stories remain untold. The hash farmers in Morocco's mountains, who've cultivated for centuries. The traditional growers in Colombia's valleys. The coffee shop culture of Amsterdam. The legal pioneers in Canada. Each place has its own relationship with this plant, shaped by history, law, culture, and necessity.
And we're sitting down with the surgeon who uses cannabis to decompress after 14 hour shifts. The tech entrepreneur who built a unicorn company, enjoying a joint here or there. The Olympic gold medalist who credits cannabis with their recovery routine. The university professor researching psychedelics who also grows their own plants. The traditional farmer whose family has been cultivating hash for 400 years.
These aren't "cannabis stories", they're human stories that happen to include cannabis. And that's exactly the point. Our mission: to show the world that cannabis users aren't stereotypes, they're teachers, doctors, athletes, artists, farmers, and leaders who happen to use a plant that's been criminalized for too long.
Why This Matters
For too long, cannabis users have been reduced to stereotypes: the lazy stoner, the criminal dealer, the desperate patient. But when you actually sit down and listen to people, those caricatures fall apart pretty quickly.
What you might realise is that the person growing cannabis in their backyard, might be the same person coaching their counties north U14 B mixed doubles handball team. That the patient using it for chronic pain is also running a successful business. That the underground grower who preserved a strain for 20 years is also a devoted parent who just saw something worth protecting.
These stories don't exist to convert anyone or prove any points. They exist because complexity is more interesting than simplicity, and real people are more compelling than the myths we tell about them.
The story around cannabis users is outdated. So pull up a chair, let's have a yarn and fix this together.
Want to Be Part of This Story?
As I keep bleating on about like a broken sheep, we all know the story around cannabis users is broken. Outdated stereotypes that don't reflect the reality of who actually uses this plant. And we all have a role in fixing that.
Maybe you've found relief through cannabis but kept it quiet. Maybe you've built something amazing but worried how your cannabis use might be perceived. Maybe you just believe the world needs better, more honest conversations about this plant.
This is our chance to tell the real story. Not my story, not anyone's individual story, but our collective story as a community that's been misrepresented for too long.
